In 2020 The Care Center at Madison Healthcare Services embarked on a PIPP project to improve the dining experience for our residents in the Care Center. Madison Healthcare Services adopted a person-centered approach that shapes the physical environment, organizational structure, and interpersonal relationships of our organization to create an atmosphere of genuine home, while providing residents with clear opportunities to direct their own lives.
A few highlights of what has been implemented:
- Residents now choose when to wake up
- Breakfast is cooked to order and an always-available menu has been offered
- New equipment and dishes are available in the kitchenettes
